There are specific polling stations for each degree programme, which will be announced at your university before the election and a polling station finder with the exact locations will be available here on our website in the weeks leading up to the election!
At the polling station itself, you can cast your vote at all three levels – federal, university and degree programme representatives.
If you are enrolled in several degree programmes, you are also entitled to vote for the respective levels at other polling station locations. The local election assessors will see in our administration system for which level you have not yet voted and will give you the correct ballot papers.
It is best to check back here in the weeks before the election and use our polling station finder to find out about the respective locations or the respective location where you can vote!
By postal vote:
If you have ordered a polling card, you can either post it in the nearest post box or hand it in directly at the polling station of the respective university on the election day – it is important that you have not yet completed the documents. Further information will be announced by the universities!
ATTENTION: If you have already applied for an absentee ballot, you can only vote for the student representatives if all the absentee ballot documents sent to you are exchanged for ballot papers on site at a polling station without being completed. The enclosed declaration in lieu of an oath must also not be completed.
